Blue Peter Presenter spills the beans on secret desire for life of crime

Back in October 2008, I was chosen as one of only nine national judges for the annual Blue Peter Book Awards.  I had to read 9 books from various categories and be ready to meet up with the other judges to decide the winners.

On a cold January day I flew down to London with my mum and dad to spend a day at BBC TV Centre.  Me and the other judges were filmed during the judging process and were also asked to do a bit of acting for a special Blue Peter Special programme that was to be aired a few weeks later.

We had a great time but it was a very busy day.  During one of the more quieter moments I decided to interview Andy, one of the current presenters.  I was joined by Mitchell and Darragh, two of my fellow judges.

Unfortunately the tape ran out just as Andy confessed to something that maybe he shouldn’t have…
